Vielen Dank für Ihr Interresse. Peniscola befindet sich 220 Km südlich von Barcelona, sowie 125 Km nördlich von Valencia in der Provinz Castellon an der Costa del Azahar (Apfelsinenblütenküste).

Peniscola hat direkten Autobahnanschluß. Neben den berühmten Sandstränden ist die Burg (ehemaliger Papstsitz) und die weit und breit bekannte, sich auf einer Halbinsel befindliche Altstadt erwähnenswert. Im Sommer herrscht hier reger Urlaubsbetrieb der alle Ihre Wünsche erfüllt.

Auch in den übrigen Zeiten ist hier vieles geöffnet. Des weiteren bieten die Nachbarorte Benicarlo und Vinaroz den ganzen Winter über zahlreiche Fiestas jeder Art. Das mediterrane, milde Klima ist noch zu erwähnen. Während sich im Sommer die Hitze in Grenzen hält, sinken die Tagestemperaturen im Winter nur in ganz seltenen Ausnahmefällen unter 12 Grad ab.
